Traveling from Utah to Aunt Sue and Uncle Doug's in Folsom, Ca

Jared, Heidi and Xander caravanned with us to California. 104-106 degrees all day.

The Salt Flats 

Finally to California border and then:

Sierra landslide forces I-80 to close in Calif.

Back to Reno and onto the scenic route. Jared and Heidi's car at the Plumb Lane exit.

Heidi had to stop at the chocolate factory. They hurried and turned the sign to closed when they saw us coming.

It finally cooled off enough to put down the top.

Over 35 years ago Dad was engaged to Candy. A bunch of the youth were going to go skiing at Heavenly Valley but it turned out that only your Dad and I showed up but we went anyway. There was a big snowstorm and the pass closed so we had to stay in South Lake Tahoe overnight in this hotel. When we got home, Dad broke up with Candy. The rest is history.

We finally arrived in Folsom.
